I have been here several times. Each visit is a delight. The quality of this restaurant is hard to find in a major metropolitan area, let alone "in the sticks" near Elkins. Bravo!
Good food, excellent atmosphere, easy access, beautiful view out on patio. Sits up on side of mountain. Very Romantic and excellent service.
NOT IMPRESSED! Went there for our anniversary at my husband's request. Food over priced and not good. He enjoyed the sword fish, but that's all he got besides a little scoop of potatoes. Don't even want to talk about my meal. Should of went to Bob Evans!
This place is a diamond in the rough. We sat out in the deck in a rain storm under the tin roof and watched the fog roll over the mountains. Everything we had was great. Cocktails: mule, fresh squeezed grapefruit and gin, homemade tonic and gin. Not light on booze but not knock your socks off. Tastefully mixed. Appetizer: soup du jour - smoked salmon chowder. One of the best soups I have ever had. Ours was gone embarrassingly fast. Entrees: Tuna, Pork Medallions. Everything was excellent. I would order this exact meal again. Whole meal with cocktails came out to $96 before tip. I feel this to be very reasonable for the quality of our dining experience. I don't understand the portion size haters of this place. I'm 250'+ with a healthy appetite and left without room to try the upside-down cake.
