Good place for treatments. The cancer center has top notch staff, friendly and always helpful. Just a great bunch of caring individuals.

Let me start by saying - I would not even rank DM with one star, but that's the only way I'm able to write a review. I recently lost a pregnancy- up to that point, Women's Health hadn't been terrible. Following my loss (as in the next day) they stopped returning my calls. They did not properly educate me on what my next, safest steps should be. Rather, they informed me that the most expensive route was the best. They did not bother to warn me of possible complications. I learned this only after making a trip to an ER in Oakland, MD. Further, just before my pregnancy, I developed a hernia just under the incision from the gallbladder removal performed by DM in November (mind you, I herniated after laughing too hard in May when the surgery was 6 months prior). I cannot be seen by ANY surgeon until a month from now. Considering I miscarried & the staff couldn't even call me back (after it was their instruction to do so) to "make my decision on the next steps" & also bevause a hernia can be life threatening; I find the staff to be incompetent. Due to the fact that I miscarried & they were "unavailable" to answer questions & did not bother to give me proper information in the first place to adequately make a decision, not to mention the fact that it takes a month (I was supposedly left on the surgeon's service as I was pregnant & issues could arise, but apparently was removed the same day I found out about the miscarriage - which was incomplete & could have caused infection - because I had called the next day ..because we wish to try again.. only to find it takes a month to be seen), I find the hospital & it's staff to be incompetent & providing the most costly level of care despite issues or complications. The best advice I could get on my miscarriage (after 10 calls... no exaggeration) was to go the ER. I shouldn't have to parade myself around an ER while bleeding & passing tissue of my lost child just to get a few simple questions answered... but, that's the most expensive route, so that's what they prefer you do. They have no regard for your personal safety or for your emotional torment during a time such as I have experienced. It's all about the money for these people. They don't "care" about their patients... I think it's also safe to mention, while hospitalized (for 6 days - it took them 3 to figure out what was wrong with me) for my gallbladder... They gave me IV medications too close together & caused my blood pressure to plummet, slowing my breathing & heart rate. This brings me back to the incompetency & the lack of concern. The nurses laughed it off saying, "is your blood pressure always this low?" Seriously?! Following my miscarriage, I feel completely let down by the OB staff. While it isn't their fault that the child was lost, they made every effort to continue to make money off of me despite my loss without any concern for me or my well-being. They simply made the suggestion to do a D&C (making it seem to be a safe elective) & sent me home with 2 other options that could take days or weeks. Not until I visited a DIFFERENT ER, did I learn the truth. A D&C can cause scarring & harm to the uterus & can sometimes result in the inability to get pregnant or to carry a pregnancy full term. Instead of DM telling me all this, they just didn't return my calls. They basically refused to answer my questions unless I went through their ER & still made the D&C seem to be an elective that was best & totally safe. It should only be performed under emergency circumstances for safety... I also must mention - my miscarriage was confirmed Wednesday afternoon. I called with questions on Thursday (multiple times) & also on Friday (multiple times) & both days, I called within their normal business hours.. I am STILL waiting on a return call. The incompetency, lack of concern & money-hungry attitude has sealed the deal for me. I will NEVER darken the doorstep at Davis Medical again. I highly advise you seek medical treatment for even a minor ailment elsewhere. Davis Medical is a joke & so are their so-called "medical professionals".

Hey i love this place ahahaha not BOOHOO

The iv was excruciating and bled all over, the second time was so much worse I actually screamed in pain. One of my 2 nurses actually kept asking the other one how the iv worked! They do not have proper training and have no business sticking anyone with needles. This is not the first time this has happened there ether, last time it took 4 tries to get the iv and I left with bruises all over my arms.

Nurses great: helpful, good sense of humor, sunny dispositions, got me out quickly after my procedures. Billing and invoicing is awful-- there doesn't seem to be any consolidation of the billing process so I'd just keep getting more bills over time, often they don't even list what I am paying for. Health care for profit is absurd and we need to catch up with the rest of the civilised world in this respect.
